Sharing Documents Securely with Tenants or Agents

There are plenty of reasons you might need to share a document stored in RentalBux — sending a tenant their copy of the tenancy agreement, providing a letting agent with an EPC for a new listing, or sharing a gas safety certificate when a mortgage lender asks for it. RentalBux lets you do this with a secure link, without sharing your entire account. 

How secure sharing works 

Instead of downloading a document and emailing it as an attachment (which creates an uncontrolled copy), RentalBux sends a copy of the document to the recipient via email. The recipient can view or download the document via the link, but they can't access anything else in your account. 

  1. Go to Documents in the sidebar. 

 

  1. Find the document you want to share. 

  1. Click on the edit icon. 

  1. Select the user you want to share the document with.  

  1. Click on Save.
