The MTD Setup Module has a configuration screen where users establish a secure connection between RentalBux and HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) service. This setup is essential for enabling direct digital submission of tax returns from within the platform.
This interface ensures compliance with HMRC regulations by verifying whether users have a valid Government Gateway ID and guiding them through the authorisation process.
The Tax Submission sub-module enables users to connect their RentalBux account with HMRC in order to comply with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.
This module guides users through the mandatory setup process required before any MTD submissions can be made. It ensures secure identity verification and formal authorisation in line with HMRC's digital access standards. Once setup is complete, RentalBux is authorised to submit digital income tax updates in accordance with MTD regulations. This enables users to manage their tax reporting obligations directly within the system, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and secure communication with HMRC.

Enter National Insurance Number (NINO)
Users are required to enter their National Insurance Number to verify their identity with HMRC. This is a mandatory step and must be completed before proceeding to authorisation.
Set Up & Authorise HMRC
Initiates the secure HMRC authorisation process, allowing RentalBux to access the user's HMRC account for the purpose of submitting MTD-compliant Income Tax updates on their behalf.
