Sub-Modules

Setup

The Setup sub-module is where users configure their HMRC account credentials and API connections. It allows secure integration between RentalBux and the HMRC system for direct data exchange. Settings include authentication details, VAT registration information, and submission preferences to facilitate smooth, compliant communication with HMRC.

Tax Submission

The Tax Submission sub-module handles the final step of the tax process—submitting the prepared tax return to HMRC through the MTD gateway. Users can preview the submission, validate entries, and receive confirmation receipts from HMRC. It also stores a historical record of all submissions for audit and reference purposes, ensuring traceability and compliance.

Ledger Mapping

Ledger Mapping enables users to link internal accounting ledgers with tax-specific categories required for reporting. This ensures that financial data is properly classified for Tax and other statutory returns. The mapping process reduces manual intervention, increases reporting accuracy, and supports compliance with standard tax codes and formats.
