The General Ledger sub-module provides a centralized and detailed view of all financial transactions recorded across the organization's accounts. As the core of the accounting system, it consolidates every debit and credit entry generated through journal entries, invoices, bills, and payments—ensuring complete financial transparency and traceability.

Fully integrated with the Chart of Accounts, the general ledger reflects real-time updates from all related modules, offering users up-to-date account balances and transaction histories. Users can filter entries by date, account, reference number, transaction type, or source module to analyse and reconcile financial data with accuracy.

This sub-module supports exporting data in formats such as Excel, CSV, or PDF for reporting, audits, and financial reviews. It plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and forming the foundation for financial reports like the Trial Balance, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet.
